Add a teaspoon of baking soda to a bottle of your shampoo. Shampoo as usual and rinse thoroughly. baking soda helps remove buildup from conditioner, mousse and hairspray and makes your hair more manageable.







SCENTS


Remove odors like fish, onion or garlic from hands with 3 parts baking soda to 1 part water or liquid hand soap, rub your hands and rinse. Freshen your breath using 1 teaspoon baking soda mixed with half a glass of water, swish the solution through your teeth then rinse. For use as a deodorant, dust baking soda under your arms using a powder puff.







TEETH


Make your own toothpaste by mixing 4 teaspoons of baking soda with 1 teaspoon salt. Also add a small spoonful of glycerin and mix until it is the right consistency. Optional – Add a few drops of peppermint, mint, anise or cinnamon extract for taste. Add into a bottle or container for easy use. To soak dentures, mouth-guards and retainers take 2 teaspoons of baking soda and mix in a glass of warm water.
